Cash flow report in ConceptDraw Project
Managing a project implies not only fulfillment of certain tasks in specified
terms. The cost of a project should not exceed the budget defined for this project.
That is why in the process of work on a project the project manager must always
remain updated on the project's budget status. As money arrives with certain
time periods it is also necessary to be aware of the expenses for these periods.
Having this data at hand the project manager will always be able to predict
and, quite possible, correct unplanned expenses.
In order to simplify the task of defining expenses on any phase
of the project, in the new version of ConceptDraw Project a new type of report has
appeared Cash flow report, which as well as the other report
types can be found in the report dialog in group Costs.

Below is a step-by-step description of creation of a Cash flow
report:
Generating such a report, you can choose the start and end dates of the project period to be displayed in the report and the time interval of the report.

Using various time intervals you will be able to get a report with distribution of expenses on specific tasks for a day, week, month, a quarter of a year or for the whole year.

You will also be able to choose the type of tasks the data on which you will need in the generated report. Those may be all the tasks of the project, tasks of the first, second, and third levels, or the project on the whole.

As ConceptDraw Project supports multi-project documents, your next step will be to choose the projects for which your report is to be generated. Thus, if you need to create the same reports for several projects you will not have to create them separately – just select the projects on which you need to generate a report.

On pressing Finish, you will get a report with
all the necessary data, such as the report parameters specified by you and the
data in accordance with these parameters.

A report is generated in HTML format and is opened by the default
Internet-browser. This will allow you to easily print it or send it by e-mail
to your colleagues.
