Workspace menu

The Workspace menu contains commands of workspace level. Here you can manage projects and resources, change calendar properties and so on. Its commands are:

Change Working Time... - Calls Edit Calendar Dialog

Workspace Properties - Calls Workspace Properties dialog that allows to customize working days and hours during all workspace projects time

Next group of menu items is connected to projects as a whole. They are active only in Projects view

Insert Project To Workspace - Creates a new project within given workspace. Change Project Properties dialog will appear to customize project parameters

Project Properties... - Calls Change Project Properties dialog for selected project

Delete Project - Removes selected project(s)

Next group is connected to Resources. These items are active in Resource Sheet view

Add Resource - Creates a new resource. Resource dialog will be called for customizing resource parameters

Edit Resource - Calls Resource dialog for selected resource

Delete Resource - Removes selected resource(s)

Reports... - Calls Reports dialog that allows to generate reports on the workspace state

Next two menu items allow to assign/remove dependencies between tasks. Links can be assigned to tasks from different project in case one of them is inserted into the other as a task.

Link Tasks - Creates finish-to-start dependency between selected task. The link arrow will be directed to the task selected first

Unlink Tasks - Remove dependency between selected tasks

Insert Project to Project... - Allows to insert a project as a task of active project. This menu item is enabled on the following conditions. There has to be more then one project in the workspace you want to use. There at least has to be one project that has not been inserted yet into current one. Gantt Chart view of the project, you want to insert another one into, has to be active. If all conditions are fulfilled, you can choose the menu item. It calls Select Project dialog for specifying your choice

Import MS Project XML to Workspace - Allows to insert information about a project from MS Project XML document as a new project within current workspace
