Lesson 2. Managing Project and Resources

In this Lesson we will learn how to work with a project: diagram editing, manipulation with tasks, setting links between tasks, changing time and working with calendar, setting milestones and deadlines, tracking the percent completed and fixing cost, and also working with resources.

The three modes of presenting the document

There are three modes of presenting the document in ConceptDraw Project:

• Workspace. Contains the project list.
• Gantt Chart. One project view
• Resource list. Contains resource list for Workspace projects.

To activate Workspace mode, use one of the following:

1. Use Projects in menu View
2. Use button Projects on the toolbar View.

To activate Gantt Chart mode, use one of the following:

1. Use Gantt Chart in menu View.
2. Use button Gantt Chart on the toolbar View.

To activate Resource Sheet mode, use one of the following:

1. Use Resource Sheet in menu View.
2. Use button Resource Sheet on the toolbar View.
