Degree of task completion

To display project state at the given moment, in the field Complete the degree of task completion is shown. In dialogs and in the task list, the degree is indicated in percent, in the graphic part of the Chart – in color. This can be done by one of the following steps (do not forget to select the task first!):
  1. Enter the needed value in the task list in the column Complete.

  1. By moving the left edge on the graphic part of the Chart. In blue, the unfinished part of the task is shown, in green – the finished part . At changing the degree of completion in accordance with WISIWIG conception you will see the half transparent outlines of shifting. This way you will easier figure out the present state of a bar and timely stop shifting.
  2. Call dialog Task Information in menu Tasks. Then, specify the degree of completion in section Info, in the field Percent Complete, using arrows on the right, or enter the needed value. Closing the dialog, do not forget to press OK, to save changes.

Task: Suppose it is August, 10 today. Let’s show the degree of task completion for this date. The tasks "Assign date", "Make up list of participants" and "Choose a place" have been 100% completed, the task "Make up entertainments list" – 50%, the task "Make up food list" – 30%. Try to apply all the 3 methods.

Note: The degree of phase completion is defined automatically, basing on the degree of completion of the tasks included.
